Pityful a rethoric question ran over her cheek, then she continued her way. On her way she met a copy. The copy warned the Little Blind Text, that where it came from it would have been rewritten a thousand times and everything that was left from its origin would be the word “and” and the Little Blind Text should turn around and return to its own, safe country. But nothing the copy said could convince her and so it didn’t take long until a few insidious Copy Writers ambushed her, made her drunk with Longe and Parole and dragged her into their agency, where they abused her for their projects again and again. And if she hasn’t been rewritten, then they are still using her.Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Amy Reid is a proud Squamish local and seasoned professional actor. Amy’s background training started in theatre at a young age, and over the years, she has performed in countless stage productions including, playing The White Witch in The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and Miss Shields in A Christmas Story. Both ‘sold out’ productions were also co-directed by Amy and produced by award-winning local theatre company Between Shifts Theatre.
Amy has worked with dozens of local kids at The Squamish Academy of Music to help develop their acting talents, both as director and instructor. She is also a working actor for film and television. You can see her as her many characters in Signed, Sealed, and Delivered, Simone Biles, Courage to Soar, IZombie, and Life Sentence. She is currently playing the recurring part of Jody in the new Netflix series Maid produced by Margot Robbie. Amy is thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Blue Rivers team and get into the classroom with all the talented kids of Squamish!
